The Microchip Technology Inc. 24LC512 is a 512Kb (64K x 8) Serial Electrically Erasable PROM (EEPROM), capable of operation across a broad voltage range (2.5V to 5.5V). It has been developed for advanced, low-power applications such as personal communications and data acquisition. This device also has a page write capability of up to 128 bytes of data. This device is capable of both random and sequential reads up to the 512K boundary. Functional address lines allow up to eight devices on the same bus, for up to 4 Mbit address space. This device is available in the standard 8-pin plastic DIP, SOIJ and DFN packages.
The M24512 is a 512-Kbit I2C-compatible EEPROM (electrically erasable programmable memory) organized as 64 K × 8 bits. The M24512-W can operate with a supply voltage from 2.5 V to 5.5 V, the M24512-R can operate with a supply voltage from 1.8 V to 5.5 V, and the M24512-DF can operate with a supply voltage from 1.7 V to 5.5 V. All these devices operate with a clock frequency of 1 MHz (or less), over an ambient temperature range of –40 °C / +85 °C. The M24512-D offers an additional page, named the identification page (128 byte). The identification page can be used to store sensitive application parameters which can be (later) permanently locked in read-only mode.
The M24C04 is a 4-Kbit I2C-compatible EEPROM (electrically erasable programmable memory) organized as 512 × 8 bits. The M24C04-W can be accessed with a supply voltage from 2.5 V to 5.5 V, the M24C04-R can be accessed with a supply voltage from 1.8 V to 5.5 V, and the M24C04-F can be accessed either with a supply voltage from 1.7 V to 5.5 V (over the full temperature range) or with an extended supply voltage from 1.6 V to 5.5 V under some restricted conditions. All these devices operate with a clock frequency of 400 kHz, over an ambient temperature range of -40 °C / +85 °C.
