The ISL83202 is a medium-frequency H-Bridge FET driver capable of 1A (typ) of peak drive current that is designed to drive high- and low-side N-Channel MOSFETs in mediumvoltage applications. Optimized for PWM motor control and uninterruptible power supply systems, the ISL83202 enables simple and flexible bridge-based design. With typical inputto-output propagation delays as low as 25ns and with a userprogrammable dead-time range of 0.1µs to 4.5µs, the ISL83202 is ideal for switching frequencies up to 200kHz. The dead-time of the ISL83202 is programmable via a single resistor. The ISL83202's four independent driver control inputs (ALI, AHI, BLI, and BHI) allow driving of every possible switch combination except those that would cause a shoot-through condition. A global disable input, DIS, overrides input control and causes the ISL83202 to refresh the bootstrap capacitor when pulled low. Integrated undervoltage protection and shoot-through protection ensure reliable system operation. The ISL83202 is available in compact 16 Ld SOIC and 16 Ld PDIP packages and operates over the range of -55°C to +125°C

The ISL26132 and ISL26134 are complete analog front ends for high resolution measurement applications. These 24-bit Delta-Sigma Analog-to-Digital Converters include a very low-noise amplifier and are available as either two or four differential multiplexer inputs. The devices offer the same pinout as the ADS1232 and ADS1234 devices and are functionally compatible with these devices. The ISL26132 and ISL26134 offer improved noise performance at 10Sps and 80Sps conversion rates. The on-chip low-noise programmable-gain amplifier provides gains of 1x/2x/64x/128x. The 128x gain setting provides an input range of ±9.766mVFS when using a 2.5V reference. The high input impedance allows direct connection of sensors, such as load cell bridges to ensure the specified measurement accuracy without additional circuitry. The inputs accept signals 100mV outside the supply rails when the device is set for unity gain.

The LD1117 is a low drop voltage regulator able to provide up to 800 mA of output current, available even in adjustable version (VREF = 1.25 V). Concerning fixed versions, are offered the following output voltages: 1.2 V, 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 2.85 V, 3.3 V and 5.0 V. The device is supplied in: SOT-223, DPAK, SO-8 and TO-220. The SOT-223 and DPAK surface mount packages optimize the thermal characteristics even offering a relevant space saving effect. High efficiency is assured by NPN pass transistor. In fact in this case, unlike than PNP one, the quiescent current flows mostly into the load. Only a very common 10 µF minimum capacitor is needed for stability. On chip trimming allows the regulator to reach a very tight output voltage tolerance, within ± 1 % at 25 °C. The adjustable LD1117 is pin to pin compatible with the other standard. Adjustable voltage regulators maintaining the better performances in terms of drop and tolerance.

The CS5460A is a highly integrated Delta-Sigma analog/digital converter (ADC) that combines two Delta-Sigma ADCs, high-speed power calculation functions and a serial interface on a single chip. It is designed to accurately measure and calculate energy, instantaneous power, IRMS and VRMS for single-phase, 2- or 3-wire power metering applications.
The CS5460A interfaces to a low-cost shunt resistor or transformer to measure current and resistive divider or potential transformer to measure voltage. It features a bi-directional serial interface for communication with a microcontroller and a programmable frequency output that is proportional to energy. The CS5460A has on-chip functionality to facilitate AC or DC system-level calibration.
The “Auto-Boot” feature allows the CS5460A to function standalone and to initialize itself on system power-up. In Auto-Boot mode, the CS5460A reads the calibration data and start-up instructions from an external EEPROM. In this mode, the CS5460A can work without the need for a microprocessor for low-cost metering applications.

The ADS1232 and ADS1234 (ADS123x) are precision, 24-bit, analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). With a low-noise programmable gain amplifier (PGA), a precision delta-sigma ADC, and internal oscillator, the ADS123x provide a complete front-end solution for bridge sensor applications including weigh scales, strain gauges, and pressure sensors.

An input multiplexer (MUX) accepts either two (ADS1232) or four (ADS1234) differential inputs. The ADS1232 also includes a temperature sensor to monitor ambient temperature. The low-noise PGA has a selectable gain of 1, 2, 64, or 128, supporting a full-scale differential input of ±2.5 V, ±1.25 V, ±39 mV, or ±19.5 mV.

The delta-sigma ADC provides a maximum of 23.5-bits effective resolution, and supports two data rates: 10 SPS (providing 50-Hz and 60-Hz rejection) and 80 SPS. The ADS123x can be clocked externally using an oscillator or a crystal, or by the internal oscillator.

Offset calibration is performed on-demand, and the ADS123x can be put in a low-power standby mode or shut off completely in power-down mode. The ADS123x are operated through simple pin-driven control—there are no digital registers to program.

Data are output over a two-wire serial interface that connects directly to the MSP430 and other microcontrollers.

The MAX481, MAX483, MAX485, MAX487–MAX491, and MAX1487 are low-power transceivers for RS-485 and RS422 communication. Each part contains one driver and one receiver. The MAX483, MAX487, MAX488, and MAX489 feature reduced slew-rate drivers that minimize EMI and reduce reflections caused by improperly terminated cables, thus allowing error-free data transmission up to 250kbps. The driver slew rates of the MAX481, MAX485, MAX490, MAX491, and MAX1487 are not limited, allowing them to transmit up to 2.5Mbps. These transceivers draw between 120µA and 500µA of supply current when unloaded or fully loaded with disabled drivers. Additionally, the MAX481, MAX483, and MAX487 have a low-current shutdown mode in which they consume only 0.1µA. All parts operate from a single 5V supply. Drivers are short-circuit current limited and are protected against excessive power dissipation by thermal shutdown circuitry that places the driver outputs into a high-impedance state. The receiver input has a fail-safe feature that guarantees a logic-high output if the input is open circuit. The MAX487 and MAX1487 feature quarter-unit-load receiver input impedance, allowing up to 128 MAX487/ MAX1487 transceivers on the bus. Full-duplex communications are obtained using the MAX488–MAX491, while the MAX481, MAX483, MAX485, MAX487, and MAX1487 are designed for half-duplex applications

The ULN2001, ULN2002, ULN2003 and ULN 2004 are high-voltage, high-current Darlington arrays each containing seven open collector Darlington pairs with common emitters. Each channel is rated at 500 mA and can withstand peak currents of 600 mA. Suppression diodes are included for inductive load driving and the inputs are pinned opposite the outputs to simplify board layout. The versions interface to all common logic families: ULN2001 (general purpose, DTL, TTL, PMOS, CMOS); ULN2002 (14 - 25 V PMOS); ULN2003 (5 V TTL, CMOS); ULN2004 (6 - 15 V CMOS, PMOS). These versatile devices are useful for driving a wide range of loads including solenoids, relay DC motors, LED display filament lamps, thermal printheads and high-power buffers. The ULN2001A/2002A/2003A and 2004A are supplied in a 16-pin DIP package with a copper leadframe to reduce thermal resistance. They are available also in small outline package (SO-16) as ULN2001D1/2002D1/2003D1/ 2004D1. ULN2003 is also available in TSSOP16 package, for reduced application space.

The ADS1230 is a precision 20-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC). With an onboard low-noise programmable gain amplifier (PGA), onboard oscillator, and precision 20-bit delta-sigma ADC, the ADS1230 provides a complete front-end solution for bridge sensor applications including weigh scales, strain gauges, and pressure sensors.

The low-noise PGA has a gain of 64 or 128, supporting a full-scale differential input of ±39mV or ±19.5mV, respectively. The delta-sigma ADC has 20-bit effective resolution and is comprised of a 3rd-order modulator and 4th-order digital filter. Two data rates are supported: 10SPS (with both 50Hz and 60Hz rejection) and 80SPS. The ADS1230 can be clocked by the internal oscillator or an external clock source. Offset calibration is performed on-demand, and the ADS1230 can be put in a low-power standby mode or shut off completely in power-down mode.

All of the features of the ADS1230 are controlled by dedicated pins; there are no digital registers to program. Data are output over an easily-isolated serial interface that connects directly to the MSP430 and other microcontrollers.

The ADS1230 is available in a TSSOP-16 package and is specified from -40°C to +85°C.

The LM136-2.5-N/LM236-2.5-N and LM336-2.5-N integrated circuits are precision 2.5V shunt regulator diodes. These monolithic IC voltage references operate as a low-temperature-coefficient 2.5V zener with 0.2Ω dynamic impedance. A third terminal on the LM136-2.5-N allows the reference voltage and temperature coefficient to be trimmed easily.

The LM136-2.5-N series is useful as a precision 2.5V low voltage reference for digital voltmeters, power supplies or op amp circuitry. The 2.5V make it convenient to obtain a stable reference from 5V logic supplies. Further, since the LM136-2.5-N operates as a shunt regulator, it can be used as either a positive or negative voltage reference.

The LM136-2.5-N is rated for operation over −55°C to +125°C while the LM236-2.5-N is rated over a −25°C to +85°C temperature range.

The LM336-2.5-N is rated for operation over a 0°C to +70°C temperature range. See the connection diagrams for available packages.
